Catholic girls loose on a Friday
Finding trouble on the wrong side of town
Pimpin’ beers and rolling good years onto
the highway
So young only danger was fun
Dandelion wishes
and Dandelion wine
Little did they know
They were runnin’ out of time
Innocence lost on public school boys
leading them astray
down those railroad tracks
High Heels and Bubble yum dreams
So young only danger was fun
Dandelion wishes
and Dandelion wine
Little did they know
They were runnin’ out of time
Train whistle in the distance
The taste of Apple and resistance
Midnight curfew sacrificed for
a moment of sin
So young only danger was fun
Dandelion wishes
and Dandelion wine
Little did they know
They were runnin’ out of time

Oh my!! This is a like 70’s song, so lyrical and beautifully done! So delighted to read you again, my dear. I must say this is absolutely stellar – KUDOS Dear Earthling! ❤

Well, I didn’t sing it like a country song lol!, but I still loved it. “The taste of apple and resistance” – I love that line. And Bubble Yum – dang that gum was something else lol!
