Ecrits Blogophilia Week 36.15 – The Promise of Stars
Hard Bonus: Incorporate a lyric by the band Yes (You always live your life never thinking of the future)
Easy Bonus: Mention a constellation (Cassiopeia)
************
We came here knowing it was not going to be all lollipops and roses.
Close calls lead to nine lives in one lifetime.
Perhaps Cassiopeia is watching over us from her chair.
You always live your life never thinking of the future.
Present moments, catch you flying by the seat of your pants.
Yet when you look up to the night skies you remember.
We are given the promise of stars.
A never ending universe, an infinite blank canvas,
ready to explode new galaxies on a whim.
Perhaps it’s not all chaos and chance.
Souls made of stardust and light…
Is science truly magic explained?
I like to think so. I like to hold on to hope
and beauty, and starlight.

Absolutely beautiful piece. Sometimes all we can do is hold onto the starlight and do the best we can! KUDOS Dear Earthling! ❤
