Hi my name is Sid. Some of you know me as “Cookie” or “Cookie Monster” but
nope, my real name is Sid. I am a Monster and a Muppet and a Man of many
hidden talents. Most just see me as an illiterate raggamuffin addicted to cookies. But there is so much more to me than that.

I bet you had no idea my IQ is 170. Yep. True story. I am one smart cookie!
I could have been an inventor or something but my love for cookies took over, so
I started out baking at a young age. I even started my own Cookie Company. Sadly it was the same year Mrs. Field’s came out.

“Never worry about failure. It’s gonna happen. But that’s OK: Go ahead, take chances… and you might just find that what feels like failure isn’t failure at all, it’s what inspires you to dream even bigger.” That is what Kermie always told me.

My Cookie company failed. But it was ok. I went on to be lead singer in a death metal band. That was a huge success I was rolling in dough. But Elmo, who was our bass player at the time he got me in huge trouble and I was arrested for public intoxication and disturbing the peace.

Everyone thinks Elmo is this sweet little innocent Muppet, well I love the guy like a brother but he has some pretty toxic habits.

I left the band to pursue some online ventures, that was working out just fine for a little while. But then I stubbed my toe and no one wanted my furry feet pictures anymore.

So Elmo and I decided to start a Travel podcast, I knew that would be risky with him and all the trouble he gets me in to but it turned out to be pretty fun.

We even got the old band back together in Chicago for an episode. I have a clip.

I am not really sure what my real calling in life is. Does anyone really know? I mean do we have to be one thing and identify with only one occupation? I think Spokes Muppet for cookies and a balanced diet is great, but I also love to travel, sing, cook and figure out the invisible magnetic force that makes compasses work. I am a complex Monster with many sides and facets. Hopefully some day the world will know the real me.
