Pickled Pink

Ramona Overstreet and her bestie, Lily Carlisle
Popped a tire, two miles form the venue of
their Idol, Harry Styles.

“Tonight’s the night and a broken down jalopy
isn’t gonna stop me,” Ramona roared.
“To the Arena!” Lily agreed gleefully.

The ladies in Pink, left their car on the brink
of the Pearl Street Exit,
A police siren and lights crept up…

“Ladies you cannot walk on a highway.”
The loudspeaker decreed.
“These are the laws that enslave men!”
Ramona was peeved.

“These are the laws that set them free!”
Called Harry from the back seat of the vehicle
“Get in girls, I can see you’re in a Pickle!”

Ramona squealed like a pig and Lily even louder,
figures Harry would sneak into Dallas in a cruiser.
He flung open the back door and scooted on over.

Hellos and handshakes ensued
