Ecrits Blogophilia Week 14.14 Topic: Back in the Saddle
Hard Prompt: Include a quote or line by William Blake
Easy Prompt: Use the word “Iceberg”

What is now proved was once only imagined. Or so sayeth William Blake and so sayeth I, when I state that magic is but science not yet explained. A man on the Moon you say? They doubted, yet it happened. World Wide Access at our fingertips, they doubted yet it happened. Wireless telephones? We cut those chords. Necessity is the mother of invention and only an Iceberg stopped the Titanic. So let us believe in possibility, in wonder, in that great hope of our own imagination. Bringing things into existence is not so difficult. It just takes belief and follow through. So let your minds eye show you the way to innovation and an exciting future that only we as humans can materialize.
How do I see the future? I see it as a beautiful world of peace and nature, less distractions and more of what God intended. Art. Beauty. Truth. Let us focus on those virtues.
Let us believe in a utopia, a heaven upon the earth where our connections out weigh the disconnected, the distracted and the disillusioned.
A universe of possibilities, and among those possibilities. Happiness, comfort, kindness, empathy, joy and love.

Very nice.

A 4 minute mile? They doubted, then it happened. Run a marathon in under 2 hours? Yet to happen, but we’re getting close! And I can definitely imagine a world of love, hope, and comfort. Nice write, Christine!

Sometimes I wonder what our grandparents think of how technology has advanced. Then I wonder what I'm going to think of how technology has advanced in the next thirty years lol!
