A Balmy New York City Night
At the Newly revived Playboy Club
April 1, 2019ā¦
Liz slapped her forehead and braced herself as she witnessed her tipsy sister throw herself at Harry Styles. Just as he was raising a beautiful glass of tequila on ice to his pouty lips, Becky flailed her arms around him and planted a huge kiss on his cheek. The drink went flying spilling liquid down his gorgeous Black and Gold jumpsuit. Two well dressed body guards in stark white suits swooped in and physically removed Becky from the Rabbit Hole.
Harry laughed it off. “Well that was not a first,” he smiled, as he was consoled by his entourage.
Lexi shrugged and apologized to Liz, “Sorry guess this was not the greatest idea.”
Liz was embarrassed, “honest she is never like this, she has never had alcohol before.”
“Never?” Lexi laughed, “Well that explains everything, we better go make sure she is ok. Come on,” Lexi took Liz’s arm and led her back through the tufted door and out of the cloak room to the steep stairs that returned them to the street in front of the club.
“I don’t feel so good,” Becky announced from the curb where she was slumped in a no parking zone.
“Dear God Becky we just got here and you are gonna puke already?” Now Liz was angry, “We haven’t even had dinner yet!”
Lexi felt sorry for both of these naive young things, and somehow, irrationally she felt responsible for them as well.
“Look girls I get off in ten minutes. Wait here. I will bring you some dinner and we can go back to my place and eat.” Lexi hurried back into the club, whispering to the bouncer, Ace as she passed him, “keep an eye on those two okay?”
“Sure thing,” Ace nodded.
“Oh no, oh no,” Becky began to fill an open manhole with her vomit. Liz held back her sister’s hair and prayed no one was watching.
Ace pulled a bottled water from the Valet stand in front of the club and handed it to Liz, “here she might need this.”
“Oh Thanks, I am so sorry.”
“No need to apologize, just doing my job Miss,” Ace had a mega watt smile, that was a stark contrast to his smooth dark skin.
“Everyone here is so nice,” Liz gushed leaving her sister to fend for herself, “We heard rumors New Yorkers were mean and rude. But you are all so sweet.”
Ace blushed, the innocence and natural beauty Liz exuded was winning him over. “So this is your first visit to the big city?”
“First visit outside of Utah. We never go anywhere,” Liz giggled.
“No kidding. Lexi is from Utah too, did she tell you?” Ace folded his long muscular arms across his broad chest and took a wider stance. The white bouncer suit was a bit snug with his big build, “Are you guys related? You all look a lot alike.”
“Oh no we just met Lexi tonight. She is from our town though so it is a small world, isn’t it? Are you a true New Yorker or from somewhere else?”
“I grew up in D.C.” Ace informed, “Moved here a few years ago to be a back up dancer for Lady Gaga.”
“Get out. No way, that is so amazing.” Liz was impressed.
“I did one tour. Now I do this.”
“Well never know what’s around the corner for you here, at least you are in the right place to make your dreams come true.” Liz grinned up at him.
“True. What about you? What’s your dream?” Ace genuinely wanted to know.
“Me?” Liz snorted, “I have no idea. Use to want grow up and have nine kids, but now I am not really sure.” Liz suddenly realized the possibilities were endless.
“Nine? Wow that’s an entire baseball team!”
“That was the plan,” Liz shook her head.
Becky had not eaten all day so the sound of her dry heaves were beginning to echo in the background. But Liz and Ace continued to laugh and flirt.
Finally Lexi emerged in a plain white t-shirt and jeans. Her long blonde hair now in a sloppy high ponytail. She was holding a large brown bag and had a pink back pack slung across her left shoulder. “Okay ladies follow me,”
There was a Black Escalade with tinted windows parked across the street and another bouncer type in a white suit hopped out and opened the back door for them. “Good Evening Miss Parker,” he nodded to Lexi as she climbed in. “Ladies,”‘he greeted the girls.
“This is Stu he is gonna give us a ride to my place. He drives all us Bunnies around.”
Liz turned and shyly waved good bye to Ace. Secretly hoping it would not be the last time she saw him.
Becky sloppily hoisted herself into the car and then fell into a very unladylike position across the back leather seat.
Lexi propped her up so they could all fit on the seat and set the bags on the floor, “I hope you girls like Steak and Lobster. The chef totally hooked us up.”
“Sounds amazing, I am about to pass out from hunger,” Liz’s stomach was growling loudly.
“Oh no, oh no….” Becky was about to blow again.
“Quick Stu we need a bag back here pronto!!”

It is sooo hard to limit yourself when the drinks are so tasty. I love how kind Lexi is to the sisters. Speaking of relations, I really like Ace. Does he have an older brother? š lol! Ace seems like he could have been modeled after The Rock, in which case I would cancel the brother request šš¤£

Oooh yes the Rock is perfect for Ace. I was also thinking of Leslie Odom Jr. He is so cute!! Thanks for reading my silly escapade.
