Celebration Day
Through the desert sands of time until many moons from now, there exists a Golden God. Gifted with a voice and a song, his words standing long…to inspire hope.
Between his lines, a King and Queen constantly weaving.
She, a Full Moon girl in purple twilight…staggering down an evening laced avenue in search of blue songs that teach in secret tongues, an ancient echoing language.

The Sleeping Queen
Once when she was young and hot and he, tall and cool their eyes met and lingered. Dancing from the past into the future but never present long enough to reveal what they knew.
The time has come,’ the Walrus said, To talk of many things:
Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
And whether pigs have wings.’
Somewhere between the Motherland and New Albion the universe told them to meet for tea.

THE GOLDEN GOD

She (The Sleeping Queen) Older now, but knowing what she always knew.
He (The Golden God) A Shining one, ready to reveal himself.

SQ: So, do you know who I am?
GG: I do. The Celts called you sleeping ones, ancient Kings and Queens who when they passed were buried in the hills or rocks or beneath trees where their knowledge could seep into the earth and live on for generations to come.
SQ: Yes, we are the ones whispering through the trees and singing from the roots, messages of light and love, a quiet wisdom, so to speak.
GG: Do you know who I am?
SQ: I have always known. You are the Singer whose song shall long inspire.
GG: So did we rule as Royals in an Arthurian world once upon a time?
SQ: Or were we Druids passing between the stones?
GG: You know my words and I live by yours.
SQ: Something like that. Could be the other way round.
GG: I guess we share the same muse.
SQ: The wavelength is certainly the same.
GG: And the song, well….
SQ: The song remains the same.

Did you hear that?
SQ: Tea first, always tea…
GG: I couldn’t agree more.
SQ: Would you like a cup of Universe?
GG: No, no dear…I’d prefer a cuppa Galaxy 😉

HERS

HIS
And so the tea party continued, with laughter, tears and remembrance. Finally the threads they had sewn and the separate lives they had led were remedied with a handshake and a hug. Parallel souls skipping along the same path, veiled only by time and distance. Words and Song. Melody and lyrics. And now, an echo to remain in their hearts for all eternity.

Where the Music plays….

Shhhh, are you listening?
