“Angel Cotton” my white poodle puppet

*******************************************

Nala knew she was a Dragon Hunter now,
for in her dreams he came
leaving little clues…
“Hello” he’d say, “I’m here to
be your muse, if you choose”
And then he’d disappear,
into thin air.
Gone, Gone, Gone.
His Angel Cotton scales
White against the night.
His Angel Cotton breath,
a mist, in flight.
“Where are you Dragon?”
Nala whispered in her sleep.
“Here I am, in the Castle Keep.”

Nala knew she was a Dragon Hunter now,
“You’re not searching, are you now?
You’re not looking anyhow.”
“I am. It’s just too dark,” she cried,
“Please Dragon, don’t run and hide!”
He sat very very still, as if a block of ice
and spoke and coaxed as if to entice,
“Come closer, use your senses,” he said.
“I’m all for the finding, I’m sitting right here.”
The Starry Dark turned to Grey Fog,
And the Dragon’s voice became a song.
Nala knew it wouldn’t be long,
She was nearly there, she could see,
she could hear…
But what was that smell?
“Could it be Fear, my Dear?”
