Past the Apple Orchard and the Grove,
Two trees in Love found a home…
Limbs entwined and blossoms tangled,
It was the Springtime of their eternity.
They should have turned birds,
they should have grown wings and flown…
but instead, they took roots to the earth
and planted themselves beneath the Moon.
The Almond and the Cherry,
growing old together, branches embraced…
a flowering display of beauty and grace,
here at last, in their resting place.
In all chaos there is a cosmos,
in all disorder a secret order…
From cradle to grave, saplings from seeds,
watered with love and bathed in peace.
