Sandyha was leaning back on her best friends sofa, reading inspirational quotes aloud from Pinterest.

“Read that one again,” called Bev from the tiny apartment kitchen. “I like that!”

Bev entered the living room with a pot of Earl Grey and two of her Grandmother’s tea cups on an antique tray.

“Wow that tea smells amazing.” Sandyha sat up and leaned forward to receive a warm cup of the ambrosia Bev was offering.”This is such a perfect rainy day… poetry, pj’s, and a pot of tea.”

“Well like my Grandma Betty always says, ‘When Cold Rain Falls…a cozy corner calls.’ and in our case a lap top with endless Pinterest boards to explore.”

Both girls giggled and cozied up next to eachother to view the shared screen on Sandyha’s Mac book. “Oh my god look at that neon maxi skirt.”

“It’s so bright it gives a whole new meaning to color blind...” 

The girls continued to giggle and sip tea, flitting from fashion pins to garden ideas, and recipes. “Look at these brownie bites! We need to make these right now. Do you have the ingredients?”

“I think I do. But wait what are those delicious things? Cheesecake pops! Let’s make those!”

Just as the girls were about to take inventory of the cupboards and fridge, Sandyha’s phone buzzed, “Oh my God, It’s my agent.”

She immediately pressed answer and said, “Hey Sal, what’s up?”

“What? Are you serious?….Both of them? Okay… No. Sure. Where? What time?…..In an hour?…yes. uh huh. yeah. Ok we will be there. Thank YOU.”

“We?? What’s going on?” Bev was beyond curious.

Sandyha was on her feet, excitement all over her face, “HOLY shhhiiiittt Bev!! This is it, this is it!!! Our big break, I just know it!!! Sal said the girls he had lined up for the new Hozier Video  flaked on him and he needs us down there in our sexiest groupie clothes in an hour. We are going to be in a Hozier Video!! Oh my GOD!!!!” 

“Wait is that the sexy Irish guy we saw at the Bowery Ballroom?” 

“Yes! And we need to head to the Bowery right now for the shoot! They are filming concert footage and we get to be featured as groupies.”

Bev was beaming, “Oh my God, we have to hurry, lets get dressed and then bring some alternate outfits just in case we need choices.”

The two giddy best friends were last seen skipping arm and arm through the misty streets of New York City, headed for a dream…
