Promise Me Magic

Promise Me Magic

In the time beyond before…
a ceaseless soul retired with her love above the ethers.
They built a home in the clouds of forest and sand,
a home that stretched between nine lands…

With sheep that bleat, and cows that moo,
creatures living as humans do,
with rights and wrongs justified,
with hearts that bled and lungs that cried…

In harmony no laws were needed,
equality simply preceded.
With earth like beauty intensified,
the technicolor plane was an ever changing masterpiece.

Some might call it Eden, Utopia or Paradise,
with days on end
and a moon that bends
light across the skies…

She loved and she laughed, she had happiness at last,
then in the midst of her bliss and ever evolving eternity,
there came a call, from an all mighty voice…
bidding her return again to that forgetful place.

“Old ones are needed to teach the young.
Wise ones are called to enlighten…
Earth must remember the songs of the trees,
the stories of the stones and the lullaby of the seas.”

“But don’t we have Sleeping Kings and Queens
at rest, echoing the ancient past?”

“Nature’s ashes, grow and shout,
Yet, not one soul has figured it out.”

“If I go, will you promise me magic?”

“What you bring with you stays
in a faint haze, you may need
reminding at times…but yes my Dear,
I promise there will be Magic.”

“What of.. My Love, how can I leave him?
We’ve finally found our Ever after…
Do you have a stairway to the stars,
to join us through the darkness?”

“I will bind you both, tethered with a
rope that stretches between
earth and the heavens. Your return
shall come as if no time has passed.”

“So if I go, I will still have him?
We shall remain, twin flames
separated only by space and time,
yet forever, I am his and he is mine?”

“Yes, he shall wait for you here,
and become your Anchor in the ethers…
You, my Dear are needed on Earth
to shed old light upon the new.”

Born, again…
upon the Motherland,

on the edge of the sea,

near golden sand…

“Shhh, the Queen is sleeping…”

Angels, as guides, pried open

her eyes and whispered in her ear,

“You’re here, you’re here…”

With a cry and a sigh,

she gave Earth another try,

hoping this life would be different.

Something deep… and significant.

Over time, she heard the echoes

of far memory…

and enlisted the others to come

as brothers, assisting with her words.

To seal her fate,

she enlisted debate

between inner truth and lies,

then, shedding her earthly disguise…

She took flight

and found love for her duty,

living in Truth and Beauty,

never forgetting the light…

Or her Anam Cara on the otherside,

he spoke on the wind

to the tune of her heart,

assuring her, they would never part.

Days were easy, light and breezy

Nights were hard, long and dark

Yet she carried on, lost in the continuum

trying her best, to get back to him…
